CABLE MANAGEMENT - CABLE STRAIN RELIEF BAR
The cable strain relief bar is a highly versatile product that can help you to manage your cables in a number of different ways.
For example, you can manage cables to the front and rear of your server rack cabinet if you use rear and front mounting rails. It can also be installed from side-to-side.
Since it is a 19-inch rack mount, you can install it side to side in your server rack and use it to support and secure your cables with velcro, nine cord or plastic ties.
Need some help installing a device by yourself? You can use the strain relief bar like a helper.
Here’s how to do it.
Mount the strain relief bar to the rear rails at one hole below the rack unit you are installing your device into.
From the front of the server rack cabinet, place the rear of your device on top of the bar.
Then screw in the front mounting ears of your device or equipment to the front mounting rails.
If your equipment or device is heavy, you can leave the bar in place to keep the support or
remove it and use it again for the next install.
