Are you a manufacturer or re-seller? Actually we are both. We started the company as a reseller for top companies in the industry. In 1994, we developed relationships and capabilities to help our customers design and economically manufacture custom racks and cabinets. As a reseller and manufacturer, Gaw Technology is uniquely positioned to provide a full range of off-the-shelf and custom cabinet and rack solutions for data centers.
What products do you re-sell? While we have our own line of server cabinets and racks, we offer data center products from top manufacturers, including Kendall Howard, Polargy, Bay Tech, Tripp Lite, HotLok, and Server Tech.
How quickly can I get a custom quote? Most quotes have a 24-hour turnaround. More complex designs may take a few days to develop.
How much does it cost to customize a cabinet? While off the shelf options may serve your needs, some of our customers actually save time and money when we do some customizing for them. If you don’t need a door on a standard cabinet, why pay for one and store it with the other extra parts? We’ll do the work for you and ship your ‘ready to install’ cabinet. Call us to discuss the wide range ofcustom solutions we offer our customers.
Will you install cable management and other accessories into the cabinets before shipping? Absolutely. It’s one of the benefits customers receive when they purchase the Gaw cabinet line. Because we do the manufacturing, we also install accessories into the unit before shipping. We call this our One-Box-Solution. Talk to one of our representatives for more information.
Is the One-Box-Solution available for all server cabinets? No. Our One-Box-Solution is only available on the Gaw line of cabinets. Because we do the manufacturing, we install cable management and other accessories so everything ships in one box – ready to install. This option is not available for other manufacturers cabinets that Gaw resells.
Do you custom manufacture products? Yes. We offer a full range of options for your data center, from standard (off the shelf) products to semi-custom and custom solutions. Our products are manufactured in New Jersey.
What warranties do you offer? As a manufacturer, Gaw offers a one-year warranty on workmanship for our full line of cabinets. Ourseismic cabinets are also NEBS Certified. On products we resell, the manufacturers’ warranty applies. These vary based on the type of product and manufacturer.
What color options are available for server cabinets/racks? Grey, black, blue and white are pretty standard in data center equipment. However, most equipment can be made with any RAL# color. There is an extra fee for this custom coloring.
What support services do you offer? While our customer service reps are available to answer many questions, Gaw also offers design and layout support for cabinets and air containment. We take a collaborative approach, working with Engineers, Data Center Project Managers, and IT professionals to design the best solution for your organization and budget.
Do you do installations? For most products, we can do the installation.
Can you stock products for future orders? Yes. We currently do this for some of our high-volume customers.
Can I pick up products at your warehouse in New Jersey? If products are in stock, we can have them available for pick-up within a few hours. If you need a cabinet, rack or accessories to keep your project on time, give us a call.
What product trends do you see in data centers? Equipment cabinets are increasing in height and depth. In addition, air containment solutions to protect equipment are evolving.
Are your products made in the United States? Our products are made in the United States and ship directly from our warehouse in Cherry Hill, NJ or our U.S. based vendors.

What certifications do you have?
Gaw is 9001:2015 TL 9000 Certified supporting our commitment to quality management systems and standards.
In addition, our products are NEBS Certified for network product excellence. Our company is also WBENC Certified and a BBB Accredited Business. Our company is also WBENC Certified and a BBB Accredited Business.
Are you GSA certified? Yes. Gaw’s GSA contract number is GS-35F-143GA. Our capability sheet can provide some additional information for government users.
What quality control program do you have in place? Gaw, as a ISO 9001, TL 9000 and NEBS certified company, puts a lot of emphasis on quality – for our products and service. Our Quality Control System includes QC checks throughout the process – from design to delivery. We also utilize client feedback to help us measure key metrics, including on-time delivery, quality and customer satisfaction and address any issues.
Payment & Shipping Information
What are your payment terms? Net 30 terms are available based on approval. Call us to request a credit application.
What payment methods are available? Online purchases through our website must be made by credit card. We gladly accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If wire transfer or check payment is the only option available, please contact us to make the arrangements.
What are your standard lead times? In-stock products will typically ship within 5 days. Custom orders will vary based on manufacturing, but generally ship within 3-5 weeks. Since our products are made in the US, actual time in transit should be less than a week.
Do you ship globally? Yes. Customer is responsible for all customs, duties and taxes associated with international shipping. These are not included and billed on your estimate or invoice from Gaw Technology.
Is the freight estimate on my order guaranteed? Gaw Technology and our Carriers use state of the art computer-generated freight quotes. However, due to the number of variables that ultimately determine the freight costs, freight charges are estimated until an order is shipped and the actual freight charges are calculated. Gaw Technology reserves the right to change carriers based on revised freight charges.
